All women want to look young, especially as the years go by; however, sometimes women don’t have the time or don’t know where to begin. Women can look younger than their age but it takes planning, some cosmetic tools and time.
One of the best ways to look younger than you are is to stay out of the sun and use sunscreen, especially when out in the sun. Sunscreen should be at least 45 SPF and should be applied liberally—especially to the face and neck. Another way to push back the years is to use a good moisturizer. Apply moisturizer to your face at least twice a day—once in the morning after washing your face and before applying makeup and then at night, before going to bed. At night use a thicker moisturizer so the benefits of the moisturizer can work for you during the evening hours.
Still another way to not look your age is to update your clothes. Focus on the parts of your body that you feel comfortable and confident with. For instance, if you feel more comfortable with the top part of your body, focus on great looking blouses or jackets that are in style or wear some jewelry that compliments your face or eyes. Another way to not look your age is to find a good hairstyle and then stick with it. A rule of thumb for aging is to keep the hair short—not real short but no longer than the nape of the neck. A fluffy shorter style can take off at least ten years.
Exercising, eating a well-balanced diet and drinking plenty of water will keep your skin moist and youthful looking. Keeping your make-up simple and in moderation will also make you look much younger. Of course, getting plenty of sleep will make you look younger and more alert. Also, there are some great natural anti wrinkle products on the market that help slow down the aging process.
Other things you can do that will make you look younger are: eating fish, wearing lipstick-which will keep your lips looking moist and young and avoid using alcohol-based cosmetics.
