Why are women advised not to do upside down yoga postures when having their period?
What should a women wear to yoga? Do you wear tennis shoes or go barefoot? Is a tshirt and cloth pants okay?
I really just can't help it. I get very relaxed and, and then you wouldn't believe how good some of the people look in their tight clothes. I've tried to hu hide it with my clothing, but I've defintely noticed some looks. Should I be taking a break when this happens?
if u know correctly suggest any web site or book or cd where i cant these things correctly and in less time.
I'm looking for a birthday gift for my mom. I've recently gotten really into yoga, but I'm afraid the DVDs I use would be too intense for her. I think the mental and physical benefits would do wonders for her, but she is slightly overweight and just had minor knee surgery. Is there a DVD specifically geared toward older-women issues like osteoporosis, arthritis, etc.? My mom is 57.
Well, not hit in them, but to make new friends for a start.
I think this question has been outstanding since yoga was invented. Many, many centuries ago.
i usually wear thongs on a daily basis but when i'm on my period i wear regular underwear because i don't use tampons. i'm doing yoga this semester at community college, and i know its bound that my period will fall on one of the days i have yoga class. i don't want to have a VPL so what do you guys suggest?
If a man turns up at a yoga class full of women, what do you/they think? I am thinking of joining a yoga class at my gym but am worried I will be labelled a perv or wierdo even though I have genuine reasons for going such as improving my flexibility/keeping fit/meeting new people. Do men/women do the same yoga exercises in classes? How does it work?
