what’s a good diet for women who are trying to get toned?

I'm trying to get my body toned up before summer and I know that it's not possible without dieting. I'm not fat or anything I just don't have any tone to my body. So I was wondering what a good diet is in order for this to happen?

Do anyone know of a good and realistic diet for women with PCOS that’s trying to lose weight ?

Have to lose weight, was diagnosed with PCOS and is trying to concieve. Currently being treated with Metformin. Thanks in advance !! I should add that I have a 11yr old daughter as well.
