I’d say maybe 4 out of 10 people dieting are men. I know a lot of guys actually that diet to lose weight (fat) but gain muscle, but still it’s essentially dieting. Girls diet to lose weight, but not really gain muscle. Anyhow, I know more guys dieting than girls that I know of.
astro makes a really valid point. both men and women “diet” but we do it very differently. men often down HORRIBLE whey and protein drinks in the hope to gain, while women will starve themselves.
