how effective are the jillian michaels workouts?

i did a Jillian Michaels workout video today. it was called "Boost Your Metabolism" it was 45 minutes of cardio and weight training, but you used your body as the weight. is that effective? are her workouts good for toning?

    her workouts are the best ones I have tried. I have not done the workout video, but I use the workouts in her book “Making The Cut”. Using your own body weight is definitely effective. Honestly just look at her! She obviously gets results doing her workouts. The key is sticking with it. You are not going to get the desired results after one or two workouts, you have to keep them up. Also remember “you get out of it what you put into to it” So really push yourself!

    Yes they are totally effective and kick butt lol. If you have good form and do everything without stopping and do it daily you should achieve results. I love her other one in the series. No More Trouble zones I did it yesterday and i realized i had aching muscles that i didn’t even know i had. Keep at it.
