I want to lose weight... I'm 5'5" and 129 lbs. & my goal is 112 lbs. Do you know if the "5-factor Diet" really works?
If it doesn't...any suggestions?

If he is over 18, in good health and not playing a competitive sport.
Right now the government says it's illegal. But it's totally legal for fat women to take diet pills with nasty side effects (more dangerous than steroids) and cosmetic surgery.
It should also be noted that there are more deaths from diet pill overdoses and botched plastic surgeries than steroid overdoses.

Can any of this be true? I mean, the articles on the website suggest that sufficient hydration and alcalinization will cure all diseases...

I just started my South Beach diet on Monday 7/14/08. I have been following it to a T. How long before I will start to see some results. Going into day 4 tomorrow. Loving this diet alot though regardless.

It has to do with alkaline and acid intake
I appreciate the advise Trevor but I have been on this diet for several years and am about 6 percent body fat and am not wanting to lose weight this should be called by a different name then ph diet as it is much more than that it actually makes you healthier not just makes you lose weight you should look into it. I posed you question to find if others have used it as well but thanks for your support I agree most diets are crap

My roomie and I are doing the South Beach diet and we are tired of lunch meat and vegatables. Is there anything else we can eat on Phase I of the diet?

I have heard some on this diet but did not want to buy the book until i know a little more about what it is about?
